Better Tools is pleased to announce the addition of Kendall Smith as General Manager of the Better Tools division of the American Cutting Edge family.

Kendall comes to Better Tools with a Bachelor's in Spanish and Business from the University of Utah and a Masters of International Management from Thunderbird Garvin School of International Management. Previous to Better Tools Kendall worked for Black & Decker from 1991 to 2001 in a variety of roles including sales, marketing, operations, product development, international development & training and sales management. In September of 2001 he joined the Pentair Tools Group in product development focusing on the Delta Machinery business. In October of 2003 he was promoted to Director of Marketing and Product Development in the pressure washer and portable generator business division.

At Better Tools Kendalls intent is to allow product development and innovation to continue to drive the success of our brand, building on already successful products such as the Purple Pack carpet blade and dispenser. Our focus at Better Tools has always been on "Outrageous Customer Service" and we intend to continue that tradition by providing an intense focus on the end-user experience during the product development process.
